Sr Specialist, Events Technology

Job Title

The Sr. Specialist will support the Acrisure Global Events & Sponsorships Team with a primary focus on event technology (Cvent), website build and registration oversight, mobile app management, attendee data and management, and onsite registration operations. This role will also lead venue sourcing, RFP launches, and contract negotiations, including stakeholder intake, property research, proposal tracking, and coordination through selection. In addition, the Sr. Specialist will support Global Events & Sponsorships operations and assist with broader event planning and administration as capacity allows.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cvent for Global Events including platform setup, templates, workflows, user access, reporting, sourcing settings, data integrity, and routine account maintenance.
• Serve as the primary Cvent power user, supporting Strategic Event Management Program (SEMP) adoption, training, troubleshooting, documentation, issue escalation, and ongoing system optimization.
• Build and manage registration websites, including attendee-facing content, registration paths, logic, testing, reporting, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Manage attendee workflows from invitation through post-event follow-up, including invite lists, RSVP tracking, attendee communications, surveys, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Build, configure, and support mobile event apps, ensuring agenda details, content, push notifications, and attendee tools are accurate and aligned to the event experience.
• Lead venue sourcing, RFP launches, and contract negotiation support, including stakeholder intake, property research, supplier outreach, proposal tracking, comparison summaries, and coordination through selection and contracting.
• Lead onsite registration support, including check-in, badge and material distribution, attendee troubleshooting, reporting, and day-of coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Support Global Events operations, including team processes, documentation, reporting, administrative needs, and cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain project visibility through Monday.com and related tools, tracking timelines, deliverables, task ownership, approvals, and event workstreams.
• Support broader event planning as capacity allows, including logistics, vendor coordination, budget tracking, collateral, shipping, and onsite logistics.
• Additional M&E duties as assigned

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cvent and OnArrival required, including event registration builds, platform administration, user support, reporting, and account maintenance.
• Experience in project management and/or operations, with strong organizational skills and the ability to support operational needs.
• Ability to manage event technology with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support attendees, internal stakeholders, vendors, venues, and event partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently, take direction, and contribute effectively across teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Monday.com, Concur, Workday, HubSpot, TicketOS, or similar tools preferred.

Education/Experience

• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience supporting corporate meetings, events, registration operations, event technology, venue sourcing, RFP processes, and/or event operations
• 2+ years of hands-on Cvent experience, including registration website builds, attendee management, reporting, and event app support.
• CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
• Cvent certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move boxes and event supply items in upwards of 25 pounds
• When onsite for events, the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

Travel

• Travel required up to 20%. Travel by air and car to meeting & event locations (hotels, restaurants, private venues, etc.) At times travel will include nights and/or weekends, and could conflict with holidays
