You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Have Retail Experience: 5+ years of asset protection experience in a retail environment, and 2+ at a supervisory level. Proven Leadership: 4–6 years of retail asset protection, security, or loss prevention experience, with at least 2+ years leading teams. AP & Safety Expertise: Strong knowledge of brick and mortar asset protection strategies, investigations, and compliance best practices (retail environment preferred). Problem‑Solving Grit: Ability to balance short‑term incident response with long‑term prevention strategies in a fast‑moving retail setting. Analytical Mindset: Skilled in leveraging data and reporting systems to spot risks, measure performance, and recommend improvements. Clear Communicator: Able to coach, train, and influence across all levels with professionalism and impact. Collaborative Spirit: Energized by working cross‑functionally and synthesizing diverse perspectives into cohesive safety solutions. High Integrity: Trusted reputation for confidentiality, sound judgment, and professionalism. Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods. Degree & Certifications: Wicklander‑Zulawski certification is required within 90 days of hire. Bachelor’s degree, LPC, CFI, or other relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, AED, OSHA, PIV are preferred, but not required. Additional Physical And Environmental Requirements Physical Activity: Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and crawling. Mobility & Movement: Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching throughout the day. Lifting Ability: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs independently on a regular basis. Some projects may involve heavier items, which must be managed with proper assistance or equipment. Vision Requirements: Includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Temperature Flexibility: Comfortable in environments with varying temperature conditions. Noise Tolerance: Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels and physical activity.
