About ComputerEZE:

We are a family-owned Managed Service Provider (MSP) located in Auburn, with a 30-year history of delivering dedicated IT infrastructure support to small business clients across Sacramento, Placer, and Nevada counties.

Our team is actively evolving our operational model from traditional break/fix services to a modern, fully managed services framework. We have completely rebuilt our technology stack to support this transition. Because we are actively designing and refining our internal processes, you will have a unique opportunity to directly influence and shape our workflows rather than just following a rigid, legacy system.

Core Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets and system alerts.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies within M365 and Microsoft Entra.
• Execute endpoint deployment, system imaging, and workstation setups.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor UniFi hardware and small-business network infrastructures.
• Provide on-site technical support and site visits at client offices when required.
• Maintain clear, thorough, and up-to-date technical documentation for all resolved issues.

What We Are Looking For:

• A minimum of 2+ years working within an internal IT department or a fast-paced MSP environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and fundamental networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• A dependable vehicle and a clean DMV driving record for local client travel.
• The ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, easily understood language for non-technical clients.

Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with modern RMM and PSA software platforms.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Intune, or serving professional services and hospitality clients.
• Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.).
• Basic familiarity or exposure to compliance frameworks such as CMMC or ITAR is highly advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, commensurate with your active technical experience.
• Medical/PTO benefits may be avaiable.
• Standard mileage reimbursement for all client-site travel.
• Direct, hands-on exposure to advanced cybersecurity architecture and infrastructure rarely accessible to Tier 2 technicians.
