Job Details Practice setting: Hospital rounding with surgical interventions as required. Schedule: 24-hour on-call coverage. Call schedule: To be announced. Documentation system/EMR: EPIC. Dates of Coverage August 14-16 September 11-13 November 26-29 December 26-27 January 1-3 Procedures / Surgeries Required Aneurysm Repair Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Heart Valve Replacement Additional Procedures Required or Preferred Proficiency as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon Travel Reimbursement Information Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Any additional expenses must receive prior approval from the facility. Qualifications Completion of a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery. Board certification in Cardiovascular Surgery. Active South Carolina medical license. Current ACLS certification. Submission of a self-query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation.
