Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Opportunity This Opportunity includes a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! Pay: $29.00 - $32.67/ hour Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease. Schedule: 7:45 am - 5:45 pm Monday - Thursday & Friday as needed. Location: Downingtown, PA Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals Take and develop dental X-rays Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Provide excellent customer service and patient care Qualifications Current licensure as an EFDA Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting Radiology certification What We Offer We believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
