Job Title: Sonographer

License: Required
Certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA)
Must-Have: Breast experience required, must be able to perform OB on all trimesters


Description:
Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures in accordance with established guidelines and timeframes.
Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure procedure completion in a timely fashion.
Obtain necessary information for specific procedures and answer patients' questions with courtesy.
Notify appropriate medical staff if images appear abnormal.
Document procedures performed within the patient chart accurately.
Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to assist in diagnosis.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work areas.
Complete documentation to ensure proper billing.
Protect patient confidentiality at all times.
