RN Ambulatory - Orthopaedics

About This Role As an RN in the Ambulatory Orthopaedics department at Cleveland Clinic’s Martin South Hospital, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey, interacting directly with patients and their families while providing healthcare education as needed. Highlights Location: Stuart, FL Facility: Martin Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as needed. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program) Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS through American Red Cross Certification within 6 months of hire (if applicable) About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
