Position Overview

We are on the hunt for a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to be part of our cardiovascular imaging team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear explanations during every procedure
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-caliber diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring operational excellence and reporting any issues timely
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
• Continuously update knowledge on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
