Currie Motors is a family owned and operated group of car dealerships which has been in business for over 35 years in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. We pride ourselves in creating a working environment that is fun, fast paced and rewarding. The great majority of our Managers, across all departments, started off in entry level positions and have been promoted into their current managerial roles. A Day in the Life of a Service Advisor
You'll start your day off in our very busy service drive. You will receive training day one from the Service Manager and also from the Manufacturer. This a dual customer service and sales role with great growth potential. With using customer service skills to establish rapport with the customer. You will be tasked with explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle to the customer. You'll be working with the Service Technicians to understand and explain the work that is being done to the customers car. You'll also have opportunity to sell additional services and explain the benefits of doing maintenance on the customers vehicle. You will prepare and process Repair Orders accurately, including all costs, deductibles, and descriptions of symptoms. We maintain a high CSI score and have very positive online reviews. This means we keep our customers happy and coming back. What does that mean for you? Qualifications for Service Advisor
- Steady work history
- Provide quality customer service, consistently achieving excellent CSI scores.
- Continue to keep customer informed with necessary information based on service
- CDK knowledge is preferred
