Hard requirements

• 2 years CT experience
• ARRT CT
• ARRT R
• BLS
• Epic experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• VA license required, but pending license is accepted if in hand by the Wednesday before start
• Required certifications must be submitted
• References required
• Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Schedule

• Start: 9/28/2026
• 14 weeks
• 4x10s
• Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri
• 8:30 AM–6:30 PM
• Up to 40 hours RTO can be approved
• No additional RTO after offer acceptance

Important facility rules

• 50-mile radius rule — locals are not accepted
• Pending VA license is okay, but must be active before start
• Must have all experience requirements
• Previous UVA travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days
• Previous permanent/internal UVA staff require 1-year separation + leadership approval

Skills / experience

Strong CT background should include:

• Adult acute care, ED, ICU, Level I Trauma
• Pediatric CT
• Contrast administration and IV starts
• CTA/vascular imaging
• Coronary CTA
• Brain perfusion
• 3D reconstruction/post-processing
• Trauma imaging
• Siemens equipment
• PACS
