This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the life of this young man. He enjoys getting out of the house and is very into sports. He is Independent. The home is big on diet, making pre-made meals and tracking carbs. This individual is easy to get along with. If you enjoy Sports, getting out, enjoying a tasty caribou coffee or taco bell this home could be a great fit for you!Duties: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming- Administer medication and monitor vital signs under the supervision of a nurse- Implement individualized care plans and ensure resident rights are respected- Assist with meal preparation and feeding- Maintain a clean and safe living environment- Provide companionship and engage individuals in recreational activitiesMinimum Qualifications:A positive attitude and willingness to learnCompassion and a desire to help others18 years of age or olderAbility to pass a background checkValid US driver's licenseBasic computer skillsAbility to read, write, and speak the English languageQualifications: - Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care approach.- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.- 2-3 years of DSP experience required- Please note that this position requires the ability to lift up to 50 poundsEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Pay Frequency:BiweeklySchedule: Saturday 3pm-10pm e/o weekendSunday 3pm-10pm e/o weekendPay: $20.00 per hourWork Location: In personIf you are compassionate, dedicated, and have a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position!Please submit your resume highlighting relevant experience.
