A growing dairy product manufacturer is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead all sanitation operations within a high-volume production facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for developing a culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring the facility, equipment, and production environment consistently meet sanitation, regulatory, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Lead and develop the sanitation team while ensuring all equipment and facility cleaning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with food safety standards.
• Plan, prioritize, and supervise daily sanitation activities to support production schedules and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation procedures, food safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to support efficient operations and maintain a clean, audit-ready facility.
• Manage sanitation labor, schedules, and departmental resources while monitoring performance against established goals and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen sanitation effectiveness, operational efficiency, and team performance.
• Train, coach, and mentor sanitation personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• 6-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience , including supervision of sanitation or production teams within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation programs, GMPs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement practices .
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Intermediate computer proficiency and experience maintaining operational documentation and performance records.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or education in food manufacturing is a plus.
