Registered Nurse, SCU/Telemetry (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, SCU/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Ranson, West Virginia.LocationRanson, WVAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/Shift12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends and holidays. Four weekend shifts are required in a four-week schedule, and travelers are not allowed to self-schedule.Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will provide care in a 10-bed SCU/Telemetry unit, consisting of 5 ICU and 5 telemetry beds. The nurse will manage a patient ratio that varies from 1:3 to 1:5 depending on acuity, utilizing Epic for charting. Experience with ventilated patients, drips, and a positive attitude is essential. The nurse may float to MedSurg with a full assignment if needed.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the SCU/Telemetry unit.Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Ensure all documentation is completed accurately using Epic.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.Required ExperienceActive Registered Nurse license.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.Experience in an SCU or telemetry setting preferred.Certifications/LicensureBLS (AHA)ACLS (AHA)PALS (AHA)NIHSS certification is a plus.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
