Job Summary:

Serves as the patient's primary physician during hospitalization. Provider is responsible for direct patient care by reviewing patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families. Provides general medical care for hospitalized patients and performs procedures in the inpatient setting.\n

• 70 plus Hospitalist team including physicians and APP's.
\n
• Strong teaching atmosphere with the option to work with our associated family medicine residency program.
\n
• Excellian, our EMR, is a software product from Epic and is considered one of the most comprehensive systems in the nation. 
\n
• You will be based out of United Hospital, but with the ability to cover at additional locations, as needed.
\n
• Casual coverage at River Falls and United Regina Hospitals

• Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

Job Requirements

\n

\n
• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
\n
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
\n
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
\n
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
\n
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges
\n
• \n

  Licensed Physician - WI upon hire required

  ACLS/BLS - required upon hire

\n

Pay Range

\n

Pay Range: $350,100 to $366,400 per year\n

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).\n
