Billing & Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing & Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This role is responsible for customer invoicing, accounts receivable processing, data entry, customer billing portal management, and general office support. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, accounts receivable, or office administration and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Manage and maintain customer billing portals

Enter and update financial data in QuickBooks

Review technician field tickets for accuracy and completeness prior to billing

Track outstanding invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections

Reconcile billing discrepancies and communicate with customers regarding invoice inquiries

Maintain organized financial and customer records

Utilize Excel and Google Sheets to track billing activity and reporting

Provide administrative and general office support as needed

Assist with filing, document management, and other clerical duties

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
