Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN

• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and assist in structural heart procedures
• Conduct electrophysiology studies and manage ablations and device implants
• Provide pre/post procedural recovery care and manage synchronized cardioversions
• Handle acute stroke interventions and peripheral vascular procedures
• Participate in biopsies and drain placements

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab RN

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• STEMI experience required
• Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
• Familiarity with Epic and Change Healthcare systems
