The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor. This position leads engineering and administrative functions that shape MnDOT’s District 1 project pipelines, including planning, traffic engineering, project management, right of way, and surveying. It provides executive oversight of early project planning and scoping, promotes efficient program development, coordinates work across teams and external partners, and contributes to district-wide management. Overall, the role ensures District 1’s highway improvement program is strategically aligned, fiscally responsible, and ready for successful design and construction. Minimum Qualifications Licensure as a professional Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID) Five years of professional post-registration experience of which three years of experience must be at the Engineer Principal level or equivalent Additional Requirements Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history check It is our policy that all candidates submit to a background investigation prior to employment.
