Venue Squiggleverse — a new 15,000 sq ft immersive family entertainment venue opening at HHLA in Playa Vista, LA (target: December 5, 2026). Designed for kids ages 3-12, Squiggleverse features attractions including a racetrack, soccer experience, DJ studio, and STEM/laboratory areas. The venue is co‑anchored at HHLA alongside Meow Wolf, Cinemark, and Dave & Buster’s, positioning it inside a 250,000+ sq ft entertainment destination with millions of annual visitors. The venue boasts state‑of‑the‑art technology brought to Los Angeles by Future Colossal, who has previously designed for Universal Studios. This is a new brand from the ground up. The right operator will have the chance to help design and build the entire operation from even before opening day — team, systems, culture, revenue playbook. You will be part of the leadership team of a groundbreaking new brand! Opportunity We’re looking for a hungry, experienced operator who is currently an Assistant GM or full General Manager (or equivalent) at an entertainment venue. Primarily focused on maximizing operations and working with vendors, but will also work alongside a Sales Manager to maximize profits. Reports to: Asset Manager Location: On‑site at Squiggleverse / HHLA in Playa Vista, LA. Start date: ASAP — pre‑opening ramp needs the operator installed by end of August 2026 to hit December 5 opening. Must‑Haves 3+ years operating a family entertainment / experiential venue (Dave & Buster’s, Bowlero, Sky Zone, Main Event, Round1, Chuck E. Cheese, Puttshack, Two Bit Circus, Meow Wolf, or similar) Direct team management experience — 20+ hourly employees, scheduling, hiring, training, performance management P&L management experience Sales / revenue mindset — memberships, event bookings (birthdays, camps), admission conversion, upsell mechanics Vendor & partner management — you’ve handled equipment vendors, cleaning services, marketing agencies, and cross‑anchor coordination Strongly Preferred Experience with leading at least one prior venue opening — Candidates meeting this requirement will be strongly favored Kids programming experience (STEM, camps, birthday party) Marketing / growth experience LA / Southern California relationships in family entertainment Compensation Base salary: competitive, range TBD based on experience Pre‑opening Bonus: $20,000 upon meeting opening KPIs Incentive: 10% of revenue above $3M annual target Year One; will explore increasing incentives beyond Year One Benefits: health, PTO, standard package — to be finalized This is a build‑something‑real opportunity, not a manage‑existing‑operation role.
