** Title: Buyer – Aerospace & Defense **

** Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-Hire **
** Location: Torrance, CA 90501**
** Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite | 9/80 Schedule | 8:00 AM Start **

Ability to work onsite in Torrance 3 days per week . *

** Position Overview **

Seeking an experienced Buyer II to support procurement activities within a regulated aerospace/defense environment . This role will manage supplier sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, purchase orders, cost/price analysis, contract compliance, and supplier performance.

** Key Responsibilities **

• Manage procurement of materials, components, and services supporting defense programs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs and evaluate supplier responses.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and contractual requirements.
• Perform cost and price analysis and supplier evaluations.
• Manage supplier performance, delivery, quality, and issue resolution.
• Maintain procurement documentation supporting CPSR/DCMA compliance .
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Maintain purchasing and supplier data within Oracle ERP .
• Collaborate with Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

** Required Qualifications **

• Experience in procurement/purchasing , preferably aerospace, defense, government contracting, or highly regulated manufacturing.
• ** Oracle ERP experience – required. **
• ** CPSR experience – required. **
• Experience working with DCMA requirements/oversight – required.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS procurement requirements.
• Experience with RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, purchase orders, supplier management, and cost/price analysis.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• ** U.S. citizenship required. **
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred.
