We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth operations within our medical office. Your contributions will directly enhance the patient experience and support our commitment to quality healthcare.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling efficiently.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assist with medical billing and coding processes to facilitate timely collections.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and follow-up needs.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline office operations.
Handle inquires and resolve issues related to patient services.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a medical office setting as a coordinator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems, including ICD-10.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for interacting with patient and staff.
Familiarity with medical insurance/authorizations is preferred.
