I opened my agency in 2016 and lead a growing team of two. Before becoming an agent, I spent 20 years in sales, and I bring that same energy, drive, and people-first mindset into our office every day. I attended the University of Michigan, and outside of work you'll usually find me staying active — I love pickleball, basketball, backpacking, and spending time with my four kids. We care deeply about how we show up for our customers and our community. Giving back matters to us, and we're intentional about supporting charities and staying involved locally in meaningful ways. Role Description

As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Chris Burt - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers' success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Prepare quotes for new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate and follow up on leads to drive new business.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
• Must be comfortable with a high number of inbound/outbound calls.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
