TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends required (every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on neurology patients, including post-surgical cases and varied neurological diagnoses
• Administer and interpret the NIH Stroke Scale as part of routine neurological assessments

• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Neurology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale assessment
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Demonstrated comfort caring for post-surgical neurology patients across a range of diagnoses
