CGS is looking for an experienced Army leader to serve as a Division Tactical Group (DTG) Chief of Reconnaissance to support the US Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, KS.Do you want to use your creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to improve organizational mission performance in the defense industry? By creating and testing real-world scenarios, you know how to help military organizations make faster and smarter decisions based on data.As a Division Tactical Group (DTG) Chief of Reconnaissance, you'll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content to help you tell a realistic story. You'll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a safe space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact.As a leader in the firm's Army Sector, you'll have the chance to work cross-functionally with planners and scenario developers on projects that are making an impact on critical missions. You'll share your expertise and collaborate with the industry's best trainers and coaches.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the OPFOR military decision-making process to develop OPFOR DTG competitive Operations Orders.Support the military OPFOR DTG Commander and contractor DTG Chief of Staff.Is the OPFOR DTG Commander's chief of reconnaissance and security operations.Is the primary DTG staff officer responsible for integrating and synchronizing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) for the DTG commander.Lead development and execution of OPFOR information collection plan and procedures that support division and theater-level scenario objectives.Conduct liaison with Manuever, Intelligence, and Integrated Fires Work Area Commanders (WACs) along with DTG Artillery LNOs on intelligence and fires integration.Execute the WCOPFOR DTG Commander's instructions/orders for ISR assets controlled by the DTG.Recommend reconnaissance and security courses of action to the WCOPFOR DTG Commander.Deploy ISR resources doctrinally and ensure operational status IAW the OPORD.Ensure communications links route radar and request-for-support messages to the correct indirect fire support elements and headquarters.Deploy artillery target detection systems (CFR, Sound Flash, Artillery Reconnaissance) doctrinally and ensure operational status IAW the OPORD.Minimum Requirements:Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of Army and Joint regulations and current doctrine.Ability to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, KansasAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 5% of the time)One or more of the following:BS/BA degree with 5 years of military experience orHigh School and 10 years of military experience.Active DOD Secret clearance is required. Preferred Experience and Qualifications:Advanced degree.MEL 4Experience as a former field grade officer, warrant officer, or sergeant major.Successfully served in a key developmental position at brigade/battalion level.Combat Arms experience.Experience with Constructive Simulation Models (e.g., Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), Warfighters Simulation (WARSIM) .Experience with FM 7-100 series OPFOR doctrine.Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP).Strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-focused approach.Working Conditions: Inside Government training facilities.Required Travel: Employees will travel to temporary work locations during exercises.Job Type: Part-Time On-Call, ExemptContract Length: More than 1 yearCore Government Services is an equal opportunity employer.
