Role Description The Installation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, NC, responsible for overseeing cabinet installation projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates daily installation schedules, assigns tasks to installation teams, and ensures work is completed according to design specifications. The Installation Manager conducts site visits, reviews project plans, resolves issues or delays, and communicates clearly with customers, contractors, and internal design and production teams. Additional responsibilities include monitoring quality control, verifying measurements and materials, tracking project progress, and maintaining accurate documentation for each job. The position also involves coaching installation staff, reinforcing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement in installation processes. Qualifications Experience managing installation projects in residential and commercial construction, with strong skills in scheduling, coordination, and on-site supervision. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, cabinetry layouts, and technical specifications, including accurate measurement and layout skills. Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and best practices for cabinet installation and related carpentry work. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, installers, contractors, and internal teams. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and responding quickly to on-site issues. Basic computer skills for managing schedules, project documentation, and internal communication; familiarity with project management or CRM tools is beneficial. Prior leadership or team lead experience in construction, cabinetry, or a related trade is preferred.
