Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Associate to join its Finance and Real Estate practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of securitization experience and will work with a team representing issuers, underwriters, servicers, and investors in the CRE securitization and CMBS marketplace. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare bid letters and negotiate confidentiality agreements. Draft securitization disclosure and operative documents, including pooling and servicing agreements. Manage mortgage loan purchase agreements and investor certifications. Engage in commercial real estate repurchase facility and warehouse lending. Participate as a key member of deal teams, managing transactions from due diligence to closing. Requirements 3-6 years of securitization experience. Experience in large law firms is strongly preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
