• Completion of an accredited surgical technology or nursing program
• Experience in operating room environments, supporting a range of surgical cases (general, ortho, neuro preferred)
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control policies
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond promptly
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment, supplies, and sterile instruments
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the procedure
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile field and aseptic techniques
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants efficiently and accurately
• Monitor for and report any equipment issues or breaches in sterile technique
• Support postoperative care by assisting with cleanup and instrument processing
• Document interventions and maintain accurate surgical records
