Security Officer Full Time Armed

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity to site leadership and appropriate responders. Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least three years of security-related experience, law enforcement experience, military police experience, or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
