Your influence will define how these families engage with their child's education across one of five California locations: Palo Alto, Piedmont, downtown San Francisco, La Jolla, or South Bay (Los Angeles). Alpha is constructing a fundamentally different educational model. Students complete their core curriculum in two hours daily through AI-powered systems, then dedicate the remainder of their day to public speaking, critical reasoning, and practical application. No traditional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Performance in the top 1% nationally. Our families are discerning, well-connected, and frequently cautious. They demand thoughtful engagement, not rehearsed responses. You will steward that dialogue over the long term. Not only during the enrollment phase, but throughout their tenure. You will speak with authority about AI—its mechanisms, its shortcomings, and its relevance—particularly with families who lead companies, fund innovation, or demand rigor in every interaction. What You Will Be Doing Take full ownership of every family relationship on campus, cultivating trust that deepens over time Identify potential issues early and address them with care, urgency, and informed judgment Ensure consistent presence during critical touchpoints: morning arrival, afternoon departure, and thoughtfully designed parent gatherings Facilitate substantive, well-informed discussions about Alpha's AI-driven approach with analytical, technology-oriented families Create and continuously improve community programming that fosters connection, support, and organic referrals What You Won’t Be Doing Overseeing admissions pipelines or enrollment metrics—your work begins once families have committed Operating primarily from an office or relying on email as your main channel—this requires in-person engagement Using prepared scripts or avoiding difficult conversations about AI or educational philosophy Depending on established frameworks—you will create structure in areas where it does not currently exist Viewing families transactionally—this role values judgment over checklist execution Parent Relations Director Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain profound trust with ultra-high-net-worth families, driving sustained retention, active advocacy and unwavering confidence in Alpha's AI-powered educational approach.
