Job Family Communications Engineering (COE) Travel Required Up to 10% Clearance Required Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph What You Will Do Attend meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert Assist with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews Serve as a Liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches Select, establish, curate, and maintain collaborative communication, issue tracking, and configuration environments for use by the program Provide reach-back support for program related requirements for systems integration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data analytics and architecture design Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program but integral to the Program’s success What You Will Need An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related technical field FOUR (4) or more years of experience involving one or more of the following: wireless communications systems and protocol development, RF engineering and antenna systems, signal processing for communication waveforms TWO (2) or more years of experience using test and measurement equipment relevant to advanced communication technologies, such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, or RF test platforms TWO (2) or more year of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team, including creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules What Would Be Nice to Have Masters' degree or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related technical field, with four plus (4+) years of work experience FOUR (4) or more years of experience with programming languages or tools commonly used in communications R&D, such as GNU Radio, Redhawk, LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or embedded systems software TWO (2) or more years of experience with applying machine learning, deep learning, or advanced statistical signal processing to communications tasks TWO (2) or more years of experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition Awareness of supply‑chain security and integration considerations for communications hardware, RF subsystems, antenna components, and SDR‑based systems FOUR (4) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team ONE (1) or more year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager The annual salary range for this position is $100,100.00-$150,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
