HVAC Service Dispatcher

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA | Full-Time | In-Office

Western Allied Corporation is looking for a highly organized and service-oriented HVAC Dispatcher to join our fast-paced Service Department. As part of a collaborative dispatch team, you'll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians using our cloud-based service management software. You'll play a key role in coordinating emergency and scheduled service work while ensuring smooth communication between our field techs, customers, and office staff.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming service callsemergency, scheduled maintenance, and quoted work
• Prioritize and dispatch HVAC service technicians based on urgency, location, and availability
• Maintain and monitor technician schedules to ensure timely service delivery
• Communicate effectively with techs in the field, providing job details and updates
• Issue and manage purchase orders for parts needed to complete service calls
• Track part deliveries and coordinate scheduling once parts are received
• Accurately document service activity within our software platform, BuildOps
• Collaborate daily with the billing, sales, and purchasing teams to support seamless operations
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and a proactive mindset

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience dispatching in a fast-paced service environment (HVAC preferred)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills; you thrive under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsverbal and written
• Comfort using dispatching software (BuildOps experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, terminology, and service processes is a bonus
• Proven ability to work well in a team and adapt to shifting priorities
• A customer-focused attitude and commitment to getting the job done right
