Auditor, RSPO Supply Chain

Job Overview The RSPO Supply Chain Contract Auditor is responsible for conducting audits in accordance with RSPO Supply Chain Standards and quality management systems. The position involves travel to conduct on-site audits in accordance with RSPO certification standards. This is a contracted position and is travel heavy; nearly all travel will be in the USA and Canada. Relevant Services/Schemes Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Supply Chain Certification RSPO Supply Chain Certification Systems Essential Duties And Responsibilities Audit Coordination Schedule and confirm audit date with client and SCS RSPO Technical Team Prepare and send client audit plan according to protocols Book travel, hotel, and transportation according to company policy, and submit expense reports to SCS Audit Services Adhere to all quality and code of conduct standards Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools Maintain positive client relationships and respond to all client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines Ensure thorough client records are maintained Program Quality and Compliance Attend training and complete training tasks to maintain lead auditor qualification status Ensure individual audit log, training records, and certifications are valid and current Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of RSPO Supply Chain Certification requirements Prepare clients for the audit process by sending required communication, audit paperwork, and audit plan Minimum Qualifications Experience with the third‑party certification process 3+ years of experience working in a palm oil related sector such as but not limited to food manufacturing, consumer goods, and chemical processing industries Strong communication and customer service skills Well‑developed organizational and time management skills Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems Willing to travel within the Continental USA and Canada (approx. 75%) Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field ISO 9001 training and RSPO SCC lead auditor training (desired, not required) Physical Requirements This is an office‑based job up to 25% of the time and a field position at least 75% of the time. Must be able to sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen in person and on the phone. Must be able to physically travel to audit sites via plane and/or car.
