Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts per Week (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple inpatient units including Medical, Medical Surgical, Surgical, ICU Stepdown, Cardiology, Rehab, and Neurology
• Manage patient populations including Med/Surg, Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiological, and General Surgical patients
• Maintain safe and effective patient care at a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shifts
• Independently navigate and document within the Epic electronic health record system
• Float between assigned units as needed based on patient census and staffing demands
• Self-schedule shifts through the designated scheduling application, providing a minimum of 5 days of availability per week including at least two weekend days

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or proof of application submitted
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing, with demonstrated telemetry competency required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in Epic EMR with ability to work independently without additional training
• Experience with patient populations including Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Neurology, Cardiology, and General Surgery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience; candidates with 4 or more years of inpatient experience without travel experience may be considered
• Experience working with 1:5 or 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios in an inpatient setting
• Epic experience within the past year
