Dialysis Clinical Manager Registered Nurse - RN

As a Clinical Manager, you will ensure that quality patient care is delivered while maintaining clinical operations. You will serve as the facility leader, part of a close-knit, collaborative team responsible for delivering unique care plans and providing dialysis treatment to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. Principal Responsibilities and Duties Clinic Operations: Manage clinic operations, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards; provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports; partner with HR, Quality, and Technical Services departments; oversee the Home Therapies Program; maintain integrity of medical and operations records; ensure completion of annual standing order review and ICD coding; manage clinic financials, including profits and loss review; handle required network reporting and on‑site state or federal surveys. Patient Care: Coordinate all aspects of patient care, from admission through discharge; educate patients regarding quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care; act as a resource for patients and families; complete patient care assessments and care plans promptly; manage patient schedules to ensure facility efficiency; coordinate patient eligibility for treatment; report changes in patient status. Staff: Participate in selection and hiring of new team members; ensure completion of orientation and mandatory trainings; ensure all staff complete appropriate training courses and maintain licensures/certifications; provide regular support and encourage professional growth; conduct employee evaluations, set annual goals; document disciplinary actions; manage staff scheduling and payroll. Physicians: Facilitate physician privilege applications and ensure compliance with medical staff by‑laws; maintain strong physician relationships and ensure effective communication; participate in governing bodies. Education and Required Credentials Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN). Current appropriate state licensure. Required Experience and Skills 6+ years business operations experience in a healthcare facility. 12 months experience in clinical nursing. 6 months chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience. Ability to pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test. Preferred: 3+ years supervisory or project/program management experience. Preferred: Med/surg or ICU/CCU experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Desk and computer work, patient interaction, staff interaction, and physician interaction. Possible travel between facilities and to regional or corporate meetings. Exposure to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Engagement in heavy lifting and patient ambulation. Compensation and Benefits Annual Rate: $71,000.00 – $166,000.00.
