K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist - Onsite, IEPs & Supervision

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening 2024/2025 School Year Soliant Health is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district near Fort Worth, TX, for the 2024/2025 school year. This onsite position runs from August 5 to May 23, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The caseload includes covering several schools within a cluster, all located about 5-10 minutes apart. Candidates must be willing to supervise SLPAs. We are looking to fill 2-3 positions. Responsibilities Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and development. Maintain detailed records and documentation of student assessments, progress, and therapy sessions. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input regarding student goals and progress. Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Travel between assigned schools within the designated cluster to provide services. Qualifications Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Texas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA, or in process of obtaining CCC. Experience in a school setting preferred. Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to supervise SLPAs.
