The organization is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Operations to play a pivotal role in its growth and impact. The successful candidate will be a core strategic leader, responsible for optimizing resources, developing internal systems, and leading the teams that support the organization's mission. This role is at the intersection of finance, operations, and people systems, and the VPFO will be expected to bring a strategic yet hands-on approach to their work, balancing big-picture thinking with strong execution. Key responsibilities for the VPFO include partnering with the executive team to develop and implement a long-term financial strategy, managing all financial planning and accounting functions, and overseeing organizational operations, systems, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' of experience in relevant leadership roles, with a strong background in nonprofit accounting principles and GAAP. They should be adept at building and improving operational systems, and workflows, and have a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience in education nonprofits and familiarity with multi-entity compliance requirements are preferred.
