VP / Director of Finance & Operations

Role Description Palermo House is a design-led DTC furniture brand focused on modern, ultra-comfortable seating and modular living. We manufacture globally, ship quickly, and obsess over quality, margins, and customer experience. We’re building a category-defining brand—and we’re looking for a senior finance & operations leader to own the backbone of the business. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can step in fast, bring order to complexity, and help scale Palermo House into its next chapter. Finance & Forecasting End-to-end financial model: P&L, cash flow, projections, weekly cash forecasting Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Board and investor reporting; fundraising support as needed Accounting & Controls Monthly close (AP/AR, accruals, inventory accounting) Oversight of bookkeeping, tax coordination, and external vendors Improve financial controls, reporting cadence, and data clarity Operations & Supply Chain Inventory planning and cash-efficient PO management Lead time tracking across manufacturers, freight, and 3PLs COGS and margin analysis by SKU, channel, and promotion Vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization Cross-functional work with CX, marketing, and product to align ops with demand Strategic Decision Support Promotion and pricing guardrails (protecting margin and cash) Support expansion into new SKUs, categories, and channels Build systems and processes that scale—not just spreadsheets What we’re looking for Proven experience in DTC, ecommerce, CPG, or furniture/manufacturing (not your first rodeo) Has built and owned financial models , not just reviewed them Strong understanding of inventory-heavy, cash-flow-driven businesses Comfortable presenting to founders, investors, lenders, and advisors Operationally sharp—this is not a sit-in-Excel-all-day role Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-moving environment Builder mindset: enjoys creating structure where there isn’t much yet Long-term oriented; excited to help scale Palermo House toward a meaningful outcome #J-18808-Ljbffr Palermo House
