The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Sr Manager, Technology.Please note that this role is not open to sponsorship of any kind at this time. (i.e.: OPT, H1B, TN).About the Role & TeamWe are seeking a talented Sr Software Engineer to drive and develop scalable and performing data and application integration through APIs and/or Data across Licensing Financial Systems and Artificial Intelligence Systems. This role will be instrumental in shaping the architecture, integration, and delivery of next-generation platforms that power financial licensing workflows and predictive analytics.What You'll DoLead the design, development, and deployment of data and application integration solution built using Mulesoft for licensing financial systems and AI-powered applications.Own the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.Collaborate with product, business, and data science teams to define system requirements and deliver intelligent automation and integration.Apply machine learning and AI techniques to optimize licensing workflowsMentor junior or contracted engineers and foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.Stay current with emerging technologies in integration, AI, financial systems, and cloud-native development to inform strategic decisions.Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including development of data and application integration for complex and large-scale systemsHands-on experience with API Gateways/API management (Google Apigee)Excellent database skills in SQL and stored procedures and in optimizing large, complex SQL statementsHands-on expertise in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and data pipelines.Hands-on building and deploying LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering and fine-tuningExperience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), vector databases, and embeddingsExcellent programming skills in languages Java and Python.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).Agile development experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with licensing systems in media, entertainment, or digital content industries.A minimum of 3 years of experience with integration software MulesoftBackground in data engineering or applied AI in enterprise environments.Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Master's degree or certifications in AI, Data Science, or Financial Technology is a plus.The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $141,900 to $190,300 per year and in Orlando, FL is $135,200 to $181,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
