Job Title: Administrative House Supervisor (RN) – Off-Shift Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, decisive Administrative House Supervisor (RN) to oversee comprehensive hospital operations during evening, night, and weekend shifts. In this vital leadership role, you will hold administrative responsibility for all inpatient units as well as ancillary and support departments operating during off-shift hours.

As the central operational leader, you will manage acute clinical situations, allocate staffing resources, ensure policy enforcement, and provide expert clinical decision-making during emergency and critical care events.

Key Responsibilities:

Hospital-Wide Operational Leadership:

• Off-Shift Management: Direct and coordinate daily operations across all inpatient nursing units, ancillary services, and operational support departments during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Emergency & Critical Care Oversight: Serve as the senior clinical lead during acute patient deterioration, code events, emergency department surges, and crisis situations.
• Resource & Staffing Allocation: Manage bed placement, patient flow, and real-time nursing staff adjustments to maintain safe patient ratios and operational efficiency across the hospital.

Clinical Support & Administrative Guidance:

• Conflict Resolution & Policy Enforcement: Maintain consistency and fairness when applying institutional policies, administrative guidelines, and clinical procedures.
• Staff Mentorship & Change Management: Act as a clinical role model, supporting nursing staff through complex care situations, operational changes, and intense clinical workloads.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

Education, Licensure & Credentials:

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) or higher [Required] .
• Registered Nurse: Active, unrestricted State Registered Nurse ( RN ) License [Required] .
• Life Support Certifications: Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required] .

Leadership & Clinical Experience:

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of successful nursing leadership experience (House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Manager) in an acute care medical center [Required] .
• Clinical Specialty: Strong clinical background in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine , with proven expertise in emergency/trauma interventions [Required] .
• Operational Acumen: Demonstrated mastery in conflict resolution, acute crisis management, and working knowledge of hospital staffing systems [Preferred] .

Position & Schedule Details:

• Setting: Acute Care Medical Center (Inpatient & Ancillary Units).
• Role Type: Contract / Travel Assignment (Exempt Salaried Structure).
• Shifts: Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.

Compensation & Package Summary:

• Weekly Exempt Stipend/Salary: $5,200 / week ($1,040 / day equivalent)
• (Note: This is an exempt salaried leadership position; compensation is paid as a flat weekly rate).
