This role will also support the implementation of LEAN initiatives, including 5S and efficiencies in the warehouse operation.The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Maintain the highest level of customer service with distributors, customers, co-workers, and guestsParticipate in the picking, sorting, wrapping, and staging of products for loadingParticipate in the loading and unloading of trailersVerify outgoing loads, properly fill out BOLs and other shipping paperwork, and turn in completed paperwork to the Bottling officeVerify incoming loads, properly fill out receiving paperwork, and turn in completed paperwork to the Bottling officePlan and communicate storage locations for finished goods, dry goods, and other materials stored in the warehouse to allow for maximum space utilizationMaintain a clean, orderly, safe, and secure work area/warehouseFill out the forklift safety checklist to ensure a properly operating forkliftOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment safely and correctlyAssist with departmental initiatives, new projects, tailgate safety meetings, and functionsIncorporate LEAN initiatives such as 5S, tracking/eliminating DOWNTIME, and reducing wasteful activitiesPerform various other duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the supervisor or manager within the physical constraints of the jobQualifications:High School Diploma, three to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMaintain a valid Forklift CertificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook softwareStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levelsCommitment to excellence and high standardsStrong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplaceBilingual skills: a plusCultural behaviors:O'Neill team members are Forward Thinkers. This work is normally performed in a warehouse environment. Noise levels are generally moderate, but may fluctuate to medium to high at times. The warehouse is temperature-controlled, but this position may require some outside work from time to time in all weather elements.California Pay Transparency Notice: This position is classified as non-exempt. The compensation range for this role is $18.50 to $19.50/hour. Candidates are generally not hired at or near the maximum of the salary range.
