OB/GYN Medical Assistant

OB/GYN Medical Assistant – Athens
Medical assistant at an OB/GYN practice. Duties include: greeting and taking back patients, getting weight, blood pressures and heart tones, answering phone calls, ordering and recording labs, scheduling surgeries and mammograms, handling referrals, some triage phone work.
We are looking for a team player with great customer service. Previous experience as a medical assistant preferred, EMR strongly preferred (NextGen a plus).
Preferred to be Registered or Certified MA w/ OB/GYN experience.
Mature candidate desired.
Benefits include: Health insurance after 90 days – Company pays 2/3 of the employee only option (Ex. Individual only $84 biweekly – Employee responsibility).
401K after 1 year of employment – matches up to 4%.
12 days of PTO/sick time – 1st year.
Office size – 1 Physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 Medical Assistants (1 is leaving Aug 31st), 2 Front office, 1 Billing, 1 Practice Manager, and 1 Ultrasound technologist.
32 hours weekly; Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:30am – 5pm, (Wed 8:30am – 12noon, Friday – off on a rotational basis – 2 Fridays off a month) If you work ½ day on Wed then you work Friday, if you work a full day on Wed, then you're off on Friday).
Hourly Range; $16 to $18/hr.
