Our Opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, CYC & Refranchising to join our Burger King North America Refranchising Team based in Miami, FL. The Manager will guide prospective franchisees through the Crown Your Career (CYC) program, serving as their business-side relationship manager throughout their one to three year journey. This includes building strong relationships, understanding each candidate’s progress and needs, coordinating with Training and other teams, and helping candidates prepare to become Burger King franchisees. Through CYC, the Manager will help grow and strengthen Burger King’s franchisee base by supporting restaurant operators from their entry into the program through the closing of a refranchising transaction. The role includes financial and operational diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, transaction execution, and coordination with Training and Field Operations. The Manager will also develop marketing materials and maintain relationships with third-party partners that support the CYC program.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the development and improvement of CYC tools and processes for engaging and supporting prospective franchisees.

• Partner with business unit leaders to shape and execute the Crown Your Career strategy and support Burger King’s long-term growth.

• Help identify and attract best-in-class operators interested in becoming Burger King franchisees.

• Lead due diligence on prospective franchisees and partners, including planning and coordinating recruiting activities and Discovery Days with the Burger King Leadership Team.

• Build and lead financial models, analyses, and scenarios to support diligence, deal structuring, underwriting, and transaction execution across prospective franchisee portfolios. Establish and apply financial frameworks and standards for franchisees.

• Lead negotiations with prospective franchisees and manage sale transactions from initial discussions through deal closing. Coordinate with Development, Franchising, Company Operations, Training, HR, Field, Finance, Legal, and other teams to gather information, support negotiations, and manage transactions from start to finish.

• Lead refranchising transactions from start to finish, connecting Company Operations and Training with internal and external franchisee candidates and coordinating the transition through deal closing and handoff to Field Operations.

• Lead Change of Ownership and New Entity Creation processes from start to finish, helping ensure each franchise group has an ownership structure that supports its long-term success.

• Improve transaction efficiency through strong cross-functional project management, clear internal guides and materials, and coordinated tracking of key workstreams and milestones.

• Prepare and deliver presentations to executive-level audiences, internally and externally.

• Travel three to five times per year, based on business needs, to support refranchising deal negotiations efforts.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Growth-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset with a positive attitude, willingness to roll up their sleeves, collaborative approach, and ability to adapt to the demands of a dynamic small-team environment.

• Bachelor's degree.

• 4+ years of experience in franchising, business development, finance, operations, or another related field.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and online database management systems for diligence, deal structuring, and transaction execution.

• Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills.

• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to collect data, lead cross-functional workstreams, and manage transactions from start to finish.

• Ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects independently.
