Electrician

Full-Time Electrician Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time electrician in Chester, Virginia. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary:

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision
• Reads and accurately interprets construction electrical drawings
• Terminates cables, installs and troubleshoots control wiring from drawings
• Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required

Qualifications:

• 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles
