About the Role:

J K Stell Electrical and Construction is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Colonial Heights, VA. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or light industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on electrical experience
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes
• Experience with residential, commercial, or construction electrical work
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
