Plans, coordinates, and develops procedures necessary to operate center dining facility effectively, efficiently, and economically. The Food Service Supervisor plans and coordinates with Purchasing and Finance to maintain food and equipment inventory. Maintains strict safety and sanitation codes and procedures. Prepares menus and determines the quantity and quality of all foods ordered. Submits weekly reports as required and instructs departmental staff in sanitation and safety procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and extensive institutional food service management experience. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field. Prefer three years broad‑based experience in an institutional food service capacity, one of which was in a lead or supervisory position. ServSafe food safety certification. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug‑Free Workplace policy.
