We are looking for a seasoned family law attorney to join us on an ongoing contract basis, working remotely with court appearances and occasional visits to our Fayetteville office. Compensation

$120+/hour, commensurate with experience.

$120 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a remote, ongoing engagement with current availability of 10+ hours per week, plus court appearances and occasional office visits. In this role, you will:

• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Draft, edit, and review pleadings, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and final orders. Perform legal research to support case strategy.
• Counsel clients on their options and help them choose the best course of action.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation.
• Manage cases independently from intake through resolution.
• Provide weekly case updates in our case management system and/or in meetings with the internal legal team.
• Follow firm policies and procedures.

What we are looking for

• Active Georgia bar license in good standing.
• At least 5 years of family law experience.
• Demonstrated ability to run a case independently from intake through resolution, including depositions, discovery, and contested hearings.
• Empathetic and compassionate with clients, yet tenacious in advocacy.
• A drive for excellence and growth.
