Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner at Dignity Health Carmichael, CA

Overview Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to its growing Vascular Surgery Department in Carmichael, CA. This outpatient-focused position will see both venous and arterial patients and be responsible for H&P's, pre/post‑surgical assessments, acute medical visits, patient education and follow‑up, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. Accredited vascular lab on site. This opportunity is full‑time with no call requirement and offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus potential and a very desirable retirement plan. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Develop and implement patient care plans. Prescribe medications and therapies. Provide health promotion and disease prevention education. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Consult with physicians and specialists as needed. Coordinate patient care across various settings. Qualifications Minimum of 1-year post‑training experience in an NP role. Experience in Vascular, Cardiology, or Cardiac Surgery is highly desirable. A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California. Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare). Benefits Compensation Range: $133,000 - $179,000 per year.
