The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.About the RoleThe Facilities Technician II supports the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of company facilities. This role is responsible for assisting with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment. The Facilities Technician II works under direct supervision and receives hands-on training to develop technical skills across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.Operate basic tools and equipment safely in compliance with OSHA and company standards.Maintain accurate records of work performed in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders regarding facilities requests.About You5+ year of general maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred (internships or apprenticeships acceptable).Basic knowledge of one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and simple schematics.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills; experience with CMMS a plus.Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical work in various environments.Willingness to be on-call for occasional after-hours emergencies.Nice to haves but not required:OSHA 10 certification.Forklift or aerial lift operator certification.Proactive mindset — spotting issues before they become bigger problems.Team-player attitude, but also capable of working independently.Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
