Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Assignment Details

• 36 hours expected per week with the possibility of working up to 40 hours.
• Overtime must be approved by the director before any overtime hours are worked.
• No floating to other clinics.
• Patient population is 100% outpatient with 50% post-surgical cases.
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week.
• Expected patient volume is 12-14 patients per day.
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.

Location Highlights

Tucson offers access to outdoor recreation and regional landmarks in southern Arizona. Saguaro National Park sits on both the east and west sides of the city, and Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is about 12 miles from downtown for hiking, tram access, and desert scenery. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is located about 15 miles west of central Tucson, and the historic Fourth Avenue district connects local dining, shops, and streetcar access near the University of Arizona. Mount Lemmon rises more than 9,000 feet in the Santa Catalina Mountains and is about an hour from the city center, giving travelers a change in elevation, cooler temperatures, and seasonal outdoor activities.
