Assistant Parts Manager

As an Assistant Parts Manager, where you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our parts department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive environment, ensuring the timely availability and distribution of parts to meet customer and service department needs. You will collaborate closely with the Parts Manager to maintain inventory accuracy, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to overall parts department success. Responsibilities Assist in managing the daily operations of the parts department. Oversee inventory control and ordering of automotive parts to maintain optimal stock levels. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and best pricing. Support the Parts Manager in monitoring sales and departmental budgets. Train and supervise parts department staff, fostering a customer-focused team environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts availability and orders. Requirements Previous experience in automotive parts management or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or automotive technology is a plus.
