Territory Manager - Michigan

Kraft Mobile Systems is looking for an experienced Territory Manager to lead our sales efforts throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula

This is a home-based field sales position for someone who understands technical selling, enjoys working directly with OEM customers, and wants to own the development of a territory. You'll work with manufacturers of off-highway mobile equipment to identify opportunities, understand their applications, and develop hydraulic and electronic control solutions using products from leading manufacturers.

This is not simply an account-maintenance role. We're looking for someone who can develop new business, grow established relationships, identify strategic opportunities, and manage the territory.

Responsibilities

Develop new OEM business throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula
Grow and strengthen relationships with existing customers
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities in the mobile off-highway market
Work with customers to understand applications, challenges, and technical requirements
Collaborate with Kraft engineering and technical resources to develop solutions
Develop account strategies, territory forecasts, and sales plans
Manage opportunities, customer activity, and pipeline through our CRM
Work closely with our manufacturing partners
Support customer system start-ups and help resolve application or service issues
Maintain strong commercial discipline around margins, opportunities, forecasting, and account development

Qualifications

5–7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably involving mobile hydraulics, electronic controls, xhyhwjd or the off-highway OEM market
A demonstrated ability to grow sales and manage technical customer relationships
Strong prospecting and new business development skills
Technical aptitude to understand customer applications and work effectively with engineering resources
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
A self-directed sales professional comfortable working from a home office and traveling regularly throughout the territory
College degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
